Executive interviews and testimonial video

Leadership on camera, sounding like themselves. For investor updates, brand storytelling, customer proof, and the internal messages that matter enough to be seen rather than sent.

Part of our corporate video production practice — interviews are often the spine a brand film is built around.

What a session looks like

Executive time is the constraint on an interview day, so we plan the schedule around it.

Before the day

You set the direction and the questions, and brief us before the shoot day.

Setup

About thirty minutes to light the room, set the cameras, and get sound right. We work in your space; a boardroom or a quiet office is usually enough.

The interview

We record it as a conversation. How long we need depends on what you are capturing, so tell us at the briefing and we will build the schedule around it.

B-roll

Where the edit calls for it, we can capture supporting footage in the same visit. It is agreed in the scope.

What you receive

A finished interview edit

Cut for a single clear argument, colour-graded, sound-mixed, captioned, and delivered in web and broadcast-ready resolution.

Two rounds of revisions

Included on every edited project. Further rounds are quoted.

Multiple subjects, one production day

More than one executive can be filmed on the same day. Each additional subject and each additional video is scoped and priced on its own.

Raw footage held for 90 days

Originals are retained for ninety days and available on request, so a later cutdown does not require booking the executive again.

Where interview pricing starts

Capture-only interview days start at $1,200 for a half day and $2,200 for a full day. That is two cameras, lighting, audio, and the footage handed over, with no editing. A finished, edited interview piece starts at $3,000. Interview work ranges from one executive in one room to a multi-day production across several offices, and we set the final number on a call.

Frequently Asked Questions

It depends on whether you need the footage or a finished edit. Capture-only days are two cameras, lighting, audio, and footage handed over with no editing, and start at $1,200 for a half day and $2,200 for a full day. A finished, edited interview piece starts at $3,000. Cost from there depends on how many subjects, how many locations, and whether b-roll is needed. We set the scope and the number together on a call. All prices are in CAD and exclude HST.

Setup takes about thirty minutes. Recording time depends on what you are capturing. If you are filming several people in one day we build a schedule so each person arrives, is filmed, and leaves without waiting.

The questions come from you. You know the message and the people, and you brief us on the direction before the day. Shot planning and on-set direction are ours. If you would rather we develop the question set, that is a service we offer and it is quoted with the project.

Most people are, at first. We shoot interviews as a conversation rather than a performance, keep the crew small, and warm up before recording anything we intend to use.

Yes. We need a reasonably quiet room with space for lighting. Describe the space at the briefing and we will tell you whether it will work.

A single shoot-day interview is delivered within a week. If the interview is part of a larger multi-day production, the full edit runs two to four weeks through post. Rush delivery is available where an announcement date is fixed and is priced with the project.

You receive a perpetual, worldwide licence to use the finished video across your own channels, with no expiry. We retain copyright and the right to show selected work in our portfolio, and we can waive that in writing where a project is confidential. Running the video as paid advertising, or taking full ownership outright, are both available and priced separately.
